While superheroes save the day on the big screen, the real world has superheroes in daily life. The men and women of the Plainfield Police Department are real superheroes. On Monday, April 28, Culver's of Plainfield is partnering with the Plainfield Police Department for National Superhero Day.

This special event will benefit Plainfield Police Explorer Group. This organization provides value tools for individuals intending to pursue a career in law enforcement. 10% of sales from 5 till 8 pm on April 28 will be donated to this organization.

Since it is National Superhero Day, kids under 12 are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero or princess. These children will receive a 99 cent kids meal with any value basket.

During the special event, members of the Plainfield Police Department will be in attendance. Families will get a chance to see a police vehicle and take a picture next to the Plainfield DARE viper. Also, a Plainfield K9 Office will be attending.

Culver's of Plainfield is located at the corner of 135th and Route 59.

Support the superheroes in our community at Culver's of Plainfield on April 28.
