Culture of Hollywood Celebrities --

Sylvester Stallone height, weight, age, and other mysteries solved!

Sylvester Stallone is one of the biggest names in Hollywood. He's known for playing some of the most fearsome action heroes.

Nominated for 2 Oscars, he has had over 25 award wins and 25 more nominations for various awards for his roles playing thug characters.

His last reported salary to play a mean mug hero was a whopping $20,000,000.00 -- why?

Because Sylvester Stallone epitomizes the most menacing and macho of characters.

Funny facts about Stallone that the average person might not know are about his height, weight, and date of birth.

In real life, the 10 foot tall, bullet proof RAMBO star is actually a mini-me version of his fabled hero.

In person, if you meet Sylvester Stallone you will quickly figure out:

  1. Sylvester Stallone Height: The actor who played Rambo and Rocky has a bio that says he is only 5'9 and 1/2" tall -- but real world friends place him no taller than 5'6" or 5'7" if he's standing barefoot.
  2. Sylvester Stallone Weight:
  3. Sylvester Stallone Age: Sylvester Stallone is a member of the Baby Boomer generation. He was born July 6, 1946 in New York City, New York.
  4. His nickname in real life was the Italian Stallion -- he was born Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone; the great undertones in his accent are not crafted. Stallone sounds streetwise because he is (because of where he lived).
  5. Sylvester Stallone says he actually over-trained for his early roles in the Rambo series, and bulked his short frame up to somewhere between 220 and 230lbs.
  6. At 60 years old, Stallone aims to keep his body at 200 lbs.

Sylvester Stallone -- in real life -- is actually quite smart, something which surprises most who meet him. As one of Hollywood's highest paid actors, he rose to fame grunting out mostly monosyllables.

Regarding his workout routine in his senior years, Stallone still is kicking butt and taking names. His celebrity diet and fitness routine includes the following.

Stallone says:

"I follow a high-protein diet: Anything with a face, that's what I eat, with something green next to it,"

"Over the years, my biggest flaw was over training. In the gym six days a week, doing more sit-ups at night ... my body was in a constant state of breakdown.

Now I focus on a variety of exercises, working out three times a week for 90 minutes per session. I really feel good--much stronger than I've ever felt, actually. Something's working."
