Sumptuous food to please your palates, over 60 live entertainment performances and fine arts & crafts are just some of the sights, sounds and experiences that await Clevelanders at the 10th annual Taste of Hudson Festival on Sunday, August 31 and Monday, September 1 in nearby Hudson, Ohio. And it's only a 40 minute drive from Cleveland.

Taste of Hudson Historic downtown Hudson is playing host to the 2-day, family-friendly, culinary, entertainment, arts & crafts and lifestyle festival with plenty of activities for all age groups to enjoy.

Delectable food will be everywhere at Taste of Hudson as more than 20 area restaurants and chefs will be preparing and showcasing items from their in-restaurant menus for visitors to enjoy. Adults at Taste of Hudson can visit the North End Wine and Beer Garden where they can choose from a selection of 25 crafted beers and dozens of varieties of wines from around the world to partake of by the glass. Tastings are $2.

Taste of Hudson has become one of the largest free music festivals in Ohio featuring 60 live musical entertainment performances on 6 stages including concerts by Straight On (The Heart Tribute Band) and Monica Robins & the Whiskey Kings Band.

Other activities include a Fine Arts Fair showcasing 16 area artisans and crafters, the Diamond Auto Luxury Auto Show and the Race to the Taste 5K run.

There will be lots of children's activities at the Kids Craft Zone (sponsored by Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft stores and Little Tikes) with its craft projects, Little Tikes Land (an interactive play area featuring Little Tikes structures and toys), inflatables, face painting and animals from the Akron Zoo just to mention a few.

For the kids there will also be a Juggling Stunt Show, performances by the Steel Angels (steel drum band) and appearances by sand sculptor Laurie Arntz-Tournoux.

Hours for the Taste of Hudson are noon - 8 p.m. on Sunday and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Monday (Labor Day). Admission is free but attendees may purchase pre-loaded dining cards on site to enjoy the taste-sized portions from restaurants at the Festival.
