For a foodie, what could be more exciting and whet the palate than to be able to dine on food prepared or designed by a celebrity chef. Now that venue is extended – you can now have celebrity cuisine at sea. The cruise lines are now partnership with celebrity chefs to help design their menus, design special creations for their guests and even introduce complete new restaurants found only at sea.

Some ways to experience these exclusive options are to try some of the following:

Crystal Cruises
Offers guests Nobu-style sushi and sashimi. The chefs preparing this food on board have personally trained with Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. You may know him from his Nobu’s Silk Road and The Sushi Bar restaurants in New York, London and Tokyo.

Norwegian Cruise Lines
Recently joined with Geoffrey Zakarian to create an exclusive Ocean Blue seafood restaurant – the first at sea. Iron Chef Zakarian will be making personal appearances on the ship November 3 and December 1 sailings.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines
Has the James Beard award winner, Chef Michael Schwartz creating fine-dining menus. He has a farm-to-table philosophy and interacts with the diners and host demonstrations while onboard.
