Cuervo Games hit Denver Saturday!!

    The Cuervo Games are storming through Denver on Saturday May 22nd . The event will take place on Larimer Street between 20th and 22nd. The Cuervo Games is a nation wide tour that travels to various cities in the United States with teams of four competing in various physical challenges throughout the day; think of a Real World/Road Rules Challenge meets MXC. Events include a waterfall climb, the Agave Air walk, Tahona Tumble, a barrel roll, and a tequila mix off with celebrity judges. Teams can sign up the day of to compete for a spot in the finals. Teams must have four members and be 21+. Admission is free. Three teams have already been selected via Facebook and have automatically jumped to Saturday’s final round. The winner of the competition will be sent to Las Vegas in October to compete against other cities’ finalists.
    Larimer Street in LoDo is a great location to hold the Cuervo Games. Star Bar, the Gin Mill, Scruffy Murphy’s, Giggling Grizzly all surround the event and will be hopping on Saturday. The party is sure to continue late into the night. It is supposed to be one of the nicest days of the year so make sure to check it out. Walk-on teams can start signing up around 2PM and events will run throughout the day. The band Savoy will be performing around 7PM to pump up the teams before the finals round at 8PM.
