Cubs home opener at Captain Morgan Club

It must be spring! The Cubs home opener is upon us and the Captain Morgan Club, located at Wrigley Field (1060 West Addison Street), reopens on Monday, April 8 for unique game time grub and specialty crafted cocktails.

WGN-Radio host Jonathon Brandmeier will be broadcasting from Captain Morgan Club and you can experience the live radio remote or head to the Captain at 9 a.m. for live bands. When the Cubs win, Captain Morgan Club will be hosting a post-party, too.

Beginning Monday, get in on great game time grub, like the “Chi-town Dogwurst,” half brat and half dog, and specialty crafted cocktails with fresh ingredients. Half brat and half dog, this fusion is topped with grilled onions, mustard, tomatoes, celery salt and a pickle, accompanied by a side of crinkle-cut fries. For an American classic, try the juicy Captain’s Burger ($6/single, $9/double), topped with Captain Morgan Club’s new secret sauce and served on a fresh potato bun.

Quench your thirst with a refreshing specialty cocktail or Jose Cuervo margarita, each $11, made with all fresh ingredients and served in your very own specialty Captain cup.

Featuring 56 flat screen TVs throughout the bar, Captain Morgan Club is the place to catch a Chicago Cubs game and the ideal spot to enjoy the neighborhood atmosphere on non-game days. The main bar transforms into the largest summer hangout in Wrigleyville when the doors come off and the patio opens. For those heading inside the ballpark, there is direct access throughout the game, offering a convenient way to duck into and out of the game.

Don’t forget to bring the pooch because the outdoor patio is welcome to dogs.
