Plans are in the works to make a movie based on the Tiger Woods scandal, according to the British Express newspaper. Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. is being looked at to play Woods, the paper reports.
Several Hollywood producers are vying to be the first to get a movie into production for the new year.
An unnamed producer told the paper: "It makes a great movie because people love the drama of seeing someone really successful fall from the top and then scramble to pick up the pieces of their life
"It proves that even the world's greatest athlete is human just like the rest of us but the movie needs to be made before the public loses interest in Tiger so the race is now on."

Well it's definitely true that from a marketing point of view, somebody is able to capitalize on even the most negative news. Take the 3-1-1 rule for putting your toiletries into small bags - the makers of Glad or sandwich bags must have been delighted. Nothing wrong with that, it's just the way the world works.
