Columbian Traffik aka CTraffik is the ultimate Miami-bred rapper and entrepreneur. He’s been standing strong in the music scene since ’96 and the kid is made of star power. Rushed Again 2 gives you a glimpse into the mind of a realist who is insanely intellectual, street-wise political, and just plain crazy. Think Big Pun’s skills meets Redman’s personality.
“Run to them record labels / run man/ and you gon’ get ya ass r*ped.” Years of experience in this industry gives Traffik the knowledge to school you. On “Get Ya Ass R*ped”, he lets you know if “you don’t make them returns, you gon’ owe”. You can always bet on this man to speak his mind and this album makes no exceptions.
“She got me f***ed up / I told you I had a wifey and a baby girl that looks just like me.” The delivery on “Mind Money” is hilarious, but listen closely – they’re saying something. “I’m too focused / I’m too hungry.” Unlike a lot of rapper who spread that groupie love, Traffik lets them know, “No freak girl gon’ get no money from me”. Not many want to diss the entire groupie clan (they might pick out one girl who did them wrong), but he this father lets them know to “go get some self-respect”.
