As quoted in the official press release on the website: “This house truly belongs to the public,” Governor Rell said. “This free open house gives families from across the state the opportunity to see the Governor’s Residence decorated for the holidays. I urge everyone to take a few minutes to stop in and say hello.”

Festivities of the open house will include live entertainment by the US Coast Guard Choral Group, local high school choir groups, Simsbury Light Opera, and more…plus an appearance by jolly old St. Nicholas to distribute candy canes to the youngsters.
