The MGM Grand’s forensic science attraction CSI: The Experience! celebrated its one-year anniversary on Sept. 22, 2010. On hand for the festivities was the charming actor Robert David Hall, who plays Dr. Al Robbins, the chief medical examiner on the hit CBS television series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” that provided the basis for this attraction and its success. The special cake depicted the murder scene branding.

CSI: The Experience! at the MGM Grand allows visitors to play the role of a crime scene investigator in one of three murder scenarios. The tour is guided by videos featuring cast members, alongside real-life forensic scientists. Guests go through hands-on laboratory experiences, visit an autopsy room, and at the end find the killer and receive an official CSI: Diploma.

This completely immersive exhibit is recommended for ages 12 through adult. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. On average, the experience takes 60 to 90 minutes. Tickets are $30.
