'CSI: NY' books Lee Majors for upcoming cold case-themed episode

It looks like "CSI: NY" has decided to bring on board a TV legend for one of their upcoming episodes this season.

According to a new report from TV Guide, the star of "The Six Million-Dollar Man" is set to play a former detective who is brought in to help solve a case connected to a cold case from decades past. As previously reported, former "Greek" stars Aaron Hill and Spencer Grammer are going to have a reunion in this episode, as well.

As for the reason behind these appearances, we can simply attribute it to one thing -- a desire for the show to succeed. "NY" is on the bubble when it comes to being renewed for another season, and it needs something in order for people to get a little bit excited.
