Downtown legend and SATC stylist extraordinaire Patricia Field has welcomed stylist and jewelry designer to her boutique on the Bowery. Last month an out of control trunk show featured Streets' line, Lyra Lovestar (which we saw debut at last season's NYFW), among others.
Amidst zebra striped leggings and bustier clad mannequins, the Lyra Lovestar collection struck a note of restrained elegance. A wonderful contrast to the funkier, more far out things featured in the store, Streets' collection was a knockout. Delicate gold bangles studded with small diamonds, onyx rings, and a necklace that looks like the solar system in gold. These are pieces that will go wonderfully with light, airy dresses for spring summer, and still deliver against turtlenecks and wool skirts in the fall. The House of Glam star has definitely got a hit on her hands!
Now trendy New Yorkers can venture down to the Lower East Side for a bite at DBGB's, high concept art at the New Museum, and to load up on trinkets from the Lyra Lovestar collection at Patricia Field!
