Mike Read has commented on his expectations regarding the graphics for the PS4 and Xbox 720. According to a report by GamingBolt on Feb. 7, the producer of the upcoming “Crysis 3” revealed that he thinks both next-generation systems will deliver on a lot of things the developer want, which is to support comparable visuals on consoles and PC. You can check out some screens from “Crysis 3,” as well as some fan made concept designs of the PS4 and Xbox 720, in the slideshow at the top of this article. I think that whatever they end up delivering there are a lot of things that we want, and as you said more power is originally at the core of what we want. We want to be able to deliver a similar experience graphically to console gamers as much as we do in pushing the PC.
“Crysis 3” will be released by Electronic Arts for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms in North America on Feb. 19. You can pre-order the first-person shooter in the following link: “Crysis 3”
Sony is expected to formally unveil the PS4 on Feb. 20 while Microsoft may also be doing the same for the Xbox 720 in the near future. Both next-generation systems should be launching by the end of this year.
