‘Crysis 3’ developer explains how PS4 and Xbox 720 will help boost review scores (Photos)

Cevat Yerli has commented on why the recently-released multiplatform video game, “Crysis 3,” is getting lower review scores than its prequels. According to a report by Gamasutra on March 1, the CEO of Crytek believed that gamers are fatigue, resulting in radical expectations for the current-generation video games. He also disclosed that the PS4 and Xbox 720 next-generation systems will help solve the issue with new gaming concepts. You can check out some screens from the first-person shooter in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from Cevat Yerli below (courtesy of Gamasutra):

I think the new generation of consoles will reinvigorate that and help to elevate that again, and elevate new concepts of gaming which old platforms are right now limiting, too.

The recently-announced PS4 and rumored Xbox 720 are expected to launch in the North American region sometime during the holiday season of 2012.

Crysis 3” came out for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on Feb. 19. Crytek previously indicated that they could port the sequel to the PS4 and Xbox 720 if there were enough demand by fans. You can order the game in the following link: “Crysis 3”
