On Tuesday, January 28, 2014, Eric Church released yet another cryptic video leading up to the release of his The Outsiders album. The video, "Give Me Back Your Hometown," hints at a tour that will take place in six cities in a span of two days. The tour is expected to launch during the week his forthcoming album, The Outsiders, will hit stores.
The plot of the video shows a gloved hand placing a pushpin on a calendar, specifically on February 14 and 15. It continues to reveal a map with five states marked. Fans can assume that Eric Church will visit major cities in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, and two sets in his native North Carolina. "Dark Side," a highly personal track from The Outsiders accompanied the video. A blurred shot of what appears to be a tour schedule is also showcased in the clip. The video concludes with the unknown person in the video writing, #TheOutsiders.
A post on the singer's Facebook page announced that the details of the tour will be exposed on February 11, 2014. That date also marks the release of The Outsiders album; fans can pre-order the album here. After this set of shows, Eric Church will head overseas and embark on a tour with The Cadalic Three.
