With 5,909 backers and funds of $242,309, Cryamore the game becomes a big Kickstarter success on February 26th, 2013.
The one month campaign to make this action RPG was a quick success to reach its first 100% of the $60,000 goal.
Stretch goals were put into place, which included major voice acting at $76,000 and a Japanese translation at $117,000. The final stretch goal almost seem to didn't happen, but that too was a success. The $225,000 stretch goal was reached, making Cryamore destined for main consoles such as PlayStation 3, WiiU, and Xbox 360. Originally the game was only planned to be for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.
Some of the features of Cryamore include:
- Real-time combat system
- 81 different elemental abilities spanning over 9 different elements!
- Large variety of monsters
- Internal game clock that influence shop close times, rare monster spawns, and the ability to solve certain puzzles
- Side Quests
- Pixel-based sprites

Kickstarters like Cryamore can sometimes go under the radar if you aren't paying attention to projects, as they only last approximately a month long. But, as more gameplay videos are released, or it nears its completion, I predict Cryamore will be a great success among the public when it actually is up for sale.
One thing that stuck out to me about Cryamore wasn't just its gameplay features and influence, but the music by Aivi Tran. This music is a must listen to, and will definitely get your gears going in anticipation for this game.
Listen to the theme song at Sound Cloud by Aivi Tran here.
I look forward to seeing the completed project of Cryamore. The estimated delivery of the game itself on the Kickstarter page is March 2014, so this game has about another year of development it seems.
