Cruzan Peach Rum (42 proof) is fairly new to the market. It launched in March of this year in anticipation of Summer and is sure to a huge hit with those who are not normally into the harder alcohol's. It's better than Schnapp's even.

The nose is rich, full-bodied and is a strong peach. It's an inviting peach. The rum is in fact, created with fresh peaches. This makes sense as we are reminded of our Grandfather's peach trees. We will never forget that smell.

A sip brings peaches from beginning to end. The ending burn is only slight. Here again, it's still better than Peach Schnaap's, which is pretty good!

Cruzan Peach Rum is available nationwide for $14.99 for the 750ml bottle. It is seriously, the bomb. It's the best rum we've ever had. Ever!

Recipes:

Cruzan® Paradise Punch
Ingredients:
12 parts Cruzan® Peach Rum
12 parts Ginger Ale
4 1/2 parts Honey Syrup*
3 parts Lemon Juice

Combine Cruzan® Peach Rum, Honey Syrup & Lemon Juice in a pitcher. Stir to mix and refrigerate. Add Ginger Ale right before serving. (Serves 8)

Cruzan® High Tai'd
1 part Cruzan® Peach Rum
1 part Cruzan® Estate Diamond® Dark Rum
1/2 part DeKuyper® Triple Sec Liqueur
3/4 part Fresh Lime Juice
3/4 part Orgeat Syrup

Combine all ingredients over ice in a shaker. Shake vigorously and pour into a
double old fashioned glass over ice. Garnish with a sprig of Fresh Mint.

Cruzan® Peach on the Beach
3/4 part Cruzan® Peach Rum
1 1/4 parts Cruzan® Aged Light Rum
1/2 part Fresh Lime juice
8 Mint Leaves
1/2 of one Pineapple Ring
1 Mint Sprig for Garnish

Add all ingredients to a blender with two ice cubes and blend for 20 seconds. Let it settle for another 20, then pour into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lightly slapped mint sprig.

Cruzan® Peach Swing
1 1/2 parts Cruzan® Peach Rum
1/2 part Spiced Honey Syrup*
6 Fresh Basil Leaves
Lime Wedge
Soda

Lightly muddle Lime Wedge, Spiced Honey Syrup & Basil Leaves in a shaker. Add ice and Cruzan® Peach Rum. Shake lightly, pour into Collins glass over ice & top with soda. Garnish with a sprig of Fresh Basil.
