Hot on the heels of their incendiary appearance at last weekend's Rites of Darkness III Festival in San Antonio, Britain's Cruciamentum will make a follow-up appearance at Mohawk tonight in Austin. The band is one of a handful of heir apparents to the underground death metal crown, as they showcase the far-reaching impact of albums like Onward to Golgotha. If you didn't get to see Incantation circa 1992, then consider this your second chance.
Cruciamentum is out in support of their crushing new EP, Engulfed in Desolation, so prepare for an earful of demo cuts along with fresh tracks that are guaranteed to ensorcell and bludgeon in equal measures.
Fellow brutalians Mournful Congregation, Pallbearer, Ritual Necromancy, and Anhedonist combine their collective forces to ensure one hell of a pummeling. Hipsters, mipsters, and dipsters beware - Mohawk belongs to death tonight!
