CRS Sell-a-bration set to kick off in Las Vegas

Hundreds of Realtors are expected to gather at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas Jan. 31 – Feb. 2 for the 25th anniversary of Sell-a-bration, an annual education conference presented by The Council of Residential Specialists.

“It’s year number 25. It’s going to truly be the most celebratory Sell-a-bration of all time,” said Brian Copeland, CRS, with Village Real Estate Services in Nashville, Tenn., in a press release. Copeland worked with the Council to develop the program and will emcee the event.

In addition to education sessions, Sell-a-bration gives agents of all levels an opportunity to network with others and share ways to use the latest technology, marketing strategies and business plans.

The influence of Howard Brinton, a past president of the Council of Residential Specialists who passed away last month, will also be celebrated during the conference. Brinton’s humorous teaching style as a CRS instructor was the first introduction to national real estate classes for many agents.

The first recipient of the CRS Special Achievement Award in 2002, Brinton had a long history with CRS. He served as one of the Council's first instructors for CRS Courses and one of the organization's first Presidents in 1984.

The Council of Residential Specialists, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, has more than 31,000 members.
