The Crowne Plaza Syracuse has a new executive chef.
Nicholas Salvetti, who has more than a decade of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, has been named to the post, effective immediately.
He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, and has earned the American Culinary Federation title of Certified Executive Chef.
Salvetti had been chef de cuisine for the six themed eateries that comprise the Corner Market at Turning Stone Resort Casino. Before that, he was corporate executive fleet chef for American Cruise Lines in Guilford, CT, and previously was the executive chef at Traditions at the Links & Yankel Catering in East Syracuse.
