From developers that worked on "Everquest," "Everquest 2," "Vanguard: Saga of Heroes," and "Star Wars Galaxies" comes a new group-focused MMO called "Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen." The game promises a rich lore where the world of Terminus is being devastated by planar forces. Starting today, gamers can pledge money to the game to ensure its development.

The game's creators assure players steady content, teamwork oriented combat, accomplishment from shared experiences, and "designed downtime" so players can be social with each other. If those things sound appealing then backing the title on Kickstarter is an option. There are several tiers of pledges supporters can make ranging from $10 to $10,000.

"Pantheon" will seemingly be a subscription based game based on the pledge reward of a free 30 days of game time. The estimated date of delivery and pre-alpha screenshots suggest the game is a few years away from being realized.
