Oklahoma’s Channel 9 News reported a story on Friday about a man who unsuccessfully tried to rob Head Honchos, an Oklahoma hair salon. On Christmas Eve, Corneilyus Howeth, 23, entered the salon with a gun and demanded money from an unidentified woman and her brother. Howeth also asked for someone who wasn’t at the salon.
Moments later, someone entered the premises. After Howeth confronted the person, a fight ensued between Howeth and one of the victims. The victims hit Howeth with a table leg, disarmed him, stripped of his clothing, and pushed him outside. The victims then locked the door and called 911.
Police arrested and charged Howeth with robbery. Although Howeth suffered minor injuries, none of the victims suffered any serious injuries. Howeth received medical treatment at a local hospital for injuries before police booked him on robbery charges.
