Crocheting when you can

See also

I lead a very busy life. With four kids all playing sports or in different school activities, there's always somewhere to be. Many times my husband is driving or we are sitting on the sidelines watching the kids play.

I don't usually like just sitting there. There are sometimes when I'm taking photos, but usually I'm enjoying watching the kids or enjoying the ride. But why not be productive at the same time?

Whenever I can, I bring along some crocheting or knitting. Right now I'm working on an afghan which is almost too big to bring to the ball games or bring in the car. The main purpose of bringing it along is to get the project finished. When you spend more time on the road than at home, then it is a good idea to bring some sort of project along. Think of all the time you might spend at a doctors office or waiting at a dance rehearsal or the time before games begin. All that time could be spent working on a project.

So the next time you are about to leave the house, grab a project bag so you can work on it while you wait!
