The book starts off with various helpful tips and hints and abbreviations. Then it is on to the patterns. Each wrap is shown from several angles and in "every which way" to wear them. A few can also be worn as skirts. Notes are added to each pattern to make the crochet process easier.

The cover photo is of 'Clementine Shells'. An easy project worked Tunisian crochet creating open-work. It is 13" wide by 83" long. The pattern is easy enough to crochet while visiting with friends. The yarn used was a Knitpicks cotton/beech fiber in an eye popping color..

'Chianti' is an intermediate skill level shrug using broomstick lace. It is worked from the lower back edge to the neck, all in one piece. The back has an unexpected slit creating a fashion statement and allowing for ease of movement.

'Sophisticated Lady' is worked vertically and that allows you to determine the length you like to wear best in a variety of ways. One of the photographs shows the completed project worn with a button as a cape. Nowhere could it be found about adding the button in either the material list or the instructions.

You won't tire of the patterns due to the variety of techniques. Beginners to experienced crocheters, expand your repertoire and try hairpin lace, double ended crochet... Scarves, shrugs and wraps of all kinds are here to stay. Here is a free "Hip Granny Tunic" by Tammy, in a colorway that pop.
