Crochet pattern - bright flower throw afghan for baby

Spring is in the air and it is time to think about planting our summer gardens here in Milwaukee.  While there maybe snow on the ground you can enjoy the taste of spring by crocheting a bright flower throw for a baby's room.

Some experience is necessary to crochet this bright colored afghan. The suggested materials are Lion Brand Vanna's Choice Baby yarn in the followng colors:  Lamb, Goldfish, and Sweet Pea.  Also two skeins of Lullabye Pink.  Although colors can be changed according to your color scheme or baby colors. A size J-10 crochet hook will also be required along with large eyed blunt needle.

To view the pattern or download it for easy printing you can find it here on the Joann Web site.

Note that you will be required to sew the hexagons (flowers) together upon completion of the afghan but this is a fairly easy step and the instructions provide all the details required in order to finish the project.

This soft and colorful throw will be sure to be a favorite for baby and mom for years to come.
