I've mentioned in articles before it's always a good idea to bring a simple knitting or crochet project with you when you have to wait. There's waiting at baseball practices, ballet rehearsals, doctor appointments and more. But have you ever thought of working on a project in bed? Or working on something while watching TV or a movie?
For years, I have always had a project right beside my table next to wear I always sit on the couch. This is usually a bigger project or one I need to get done soon. Our family usually watches an hour or so of television in the evenings so it gives me a good amount of time to work on my project.
But what happens when we go upstairs to bed? My husband gets up rather early in the mornings, so he's in bed by nine at the latest. I tuck the kids in bed, crawl in beside my sleeping husband and grab another project to work on. I keep another simple, pattern free project by my bed so I can work on it at night. I tend to stay up late so it's a good time to get things finished. My current project beside my bed is my granny square blanket. It's a good one because the larger it gets, the warmer it keeps me!
Do you have places you keep projects to work on? What types of projects are you working on now? Feel free to comment below!
