Size: 12"x10"

Materials:

Caron Christmas Glitter 95% acrylic, 5% metallic wrap:

2 oz. white#7501,

1 1/2 oz. Red # 7502

Or you can use any worsted weight yarn (#4)

Aluminum crochet hook I (5.5mm)

Yarn Needle

Gauge: 6 sc = 2" 7 rows+ 2"

Special stitch: sc 3 sts tog: Pull up a loop in each of next 3 sts, yo,

draw through all 4 loops on hook.

Sock

Row 1: With white, ch 25, sc in 2nd ch from the hook, sc n each rem

chch1, turn, (24).

Row 2: Sc in each st, ch 1, turn.

Row 3-13: Rep row 2.

Row 14: sc in each st, ch 11, ( this starts the instep), turn.

Row 15: Sc in 2nd st from the hook, sc in each rem ch, sc in each sc,

ch 1, turn, (34).

Row 16-25: Rep row 2.

Row 26: Sc in each of next 24 sc, leave rem sts unworked (this ends

the instep), ch 1. Turn (24).

Row 27-40: Rep row 2.

Do not turn after row 40

You will now be working across edges and instep

Row 41: Work 14 sc across first edge to instep, sc in each of next 10

sts of instep, work 10 sc across top edge of instep, sc in each of next

10 sts of instep, work 14 sc across 2nd edge. (58)

Do not turn. Fasten off.

Shoe

Row 1: Attach Red with a sl st to back loop of first sc on right side of

row 41, sc in same space, sc in back loop of each of next 57 sts, ch

1,

turn, (58).

Row 2: Working in both loops now and throughout, sc in each of next

sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in each f next 10 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in

each rem 25 sts, ch 1, turn, (62).

Row 3: sc in each st, ch 1, turn.

Row 4, Sc in each of next 25 sts, 3 sc in next, sc in each of next 10

sts, 3 sc in next, sc in each rem 25 sts, ch1. Turn, (66).

Row 5-7: Rep row 3.

Row 8: Sc 3 sts tog, sc i each of next 22 sts, sc 3 sts tog, sc in each

of next 10 sts, sc 3 sts tog, sc in each of next 22 sts, sc 3 sts tog,

ch 1, turn, (58).

Row 9: Rep row 3.

Row 10: Sc in each of next 28 sts, 2 sc tg, sc in each rem 28 sts, ch

1,

turn (57).

Row 11: Sc in each of next 27 sts, sc 2 sts tog, sc in each rem 28 sts,

(56). Fasten off.

Using matching yarn, neatly overcast seams.

Lace trim

Rnd 1: Join white with a sl st at seam line on heel side of stocking,

ch 12, sl st in same sp, (hanging loop), work 42 sc around top of

stocking,

drop white, pull up a loop with red, join to first sc with a sl st,

skipping hanging loop and pushing hanging loop to interior of

stocking.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same sp, sc in each st around, drop red, pull up a

loop with white, join with a sl st to first sc.

Rnd 3: ch 3, dc in same st, ch 1, skip next st, * 2dc in next st, ch1,

skip next st, rep from * around,

pull up a loop with red, join with a sl st to first st. (42 dc ).

Rnd 4: Sl st in first ch-1 sp, ( ch3, sl st) 3 times in same sp, sc in

next ch-1 sp, *[ ( ch 3,sl st) 3 times in next ch-1 sp, sc in next ch-1

sp], rep from * around, sl st in first ch-1 sp, Fasten off cut white.

weave in ends.

Strap:

Row 1: With Red, ch 21, sc in 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each of

next 18

chs, 3 sc in last ch, working on opp side of chain, sc in each st.

Fasten

off leaving an end for sewing.

Button:

With white, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from the hook, join to first sc.

Fasten off, leaving a length for sewing.

Finishing: Sew strap across instep. Sew button on rounded end of

strap.
