Criterion announces June releases, from the Beatles to a Douglas Sirk melodrama

Yesterday on their Facebook page, Criterion announced and shared a link of what titles they are releasing in June. The list also shows movies that are going to be released this month to June.

For June, Criterion is going to be releasing the Beatles movie, "A Hard Day's Night" in dual format of Blu-ray/DVD and just DVD. The movie will be released on Jun 24. Richard Lester had directed the 1964 film.

Other titles that are coming out in July is the film Judex, the 70s documentary "Hearts and Mind," Peter Weir's "Picnic At Hanging Rock," the Italian drama "L'Eclisse," and Douglas Sirk's 1950s melodrama "All That Heaven Allows."

If you can't wait for June, Criterion at the end of this month will be releasing the 2014 Oscar winning foreign film, "The Great Beauty." The same day Bergman's "Persona" and the silent comedy, "The Freshman" are going to be released too.
