The Las Vegas Sun reports an unusual story about a kidnapping and a bizarre ransom demand that didn’t include cash. On Friday, authorities indicted Christopher Hunter and Rosa Garcia, who held a woman hostage with a knife. The duo threatened to kill the victim if an acquaintance didn’t deliver a Playstation console. The kidnappers knew their victim and had spent some time living with her.
Authorities report the incident occurred on November 14 inside the victim’s apartment.
The criminal duo allegedly tied their victim to a chair, choked her, cut off her hair and threatened to force her to have sex with someone with the AIDS virus. The acquaintance of the victim couldn’t get a Playstation by the deadline and requested more time. The authorities were notified and intervened.
The victim said she was forced to take pills and drink alcohol. Authorities have charged Hunter and Garcia with kidnapping, assault and battery charges. Read more about this story at the Las Vegas Sun.
