Criminal Minds to feature horror icon favorites including Bill Oberst Jr.

The horror genre is in for a treat if they happen to be fans of the hit series Criminal Minds.

On Wednesday, April 2nd, the popular CBS series will be airing an episode called 'Blood Relations'. Directed by Matthew Gubler, the episode will include many horror /thriller favorites including Adrienne Barbeau, Tobin Bell and Bill Oberst Jr.

Horror stories have currently been gaining a lot of steam with shows like The Walking Dead, Hemlock Grove, and American Horror Story, including the recently announced season four 'American Horror Story: Freak Show'.

Horror/Thriller genre stalwarts Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog, Swamp Thing, Creepshow) Tobin Bell (Saw, Dark House, The Firm) Bill Oberst Jr. (Abraham Lincoln Vs. Zombies, Children of Sorrow, Take This Lollipop) and Ronnie Gene Blevins (Crawl Space, The Gnashing) are guest-starring in an episode of Criminal Minds entitled Blood Relations, premiering Wednesday, April 2nd at 9:00pm on the CBS Television Network. Series star Matthew Gray Gubler directed the episode, which was written by Criminal Minds producer Breen Frazier.

The official episode synopsis from CBS reads "When two murder victims are found in a backwoods community in West Virginia, the BAU uncovers a long-simmering feud between two families and must investigate which side could be responsible for the deaths."

Details are sparse about the roles Barbeau, Bell and Oberst will play. Director Matthew Gray Gubler tweeted this while directing the episode, "The Criminal Minds I'm currently directing will HAUNT YOU FOREVER. Do not watch it alone."
