Mantegna will be stepping behind the camera for the first time on "Criminal Minds" with this next episode, which also brings back Meshach Taylor as Rossi's former Marine Sergeant, Harrison Scott, and when he goes missing, Rossi heads to Los Angeles to find him. Meanwhile, the BAU tries to hunt down a vigilante killer on the loose in Cleveland, and the secret JJ (AJ Cook) has been keeping from the team may be catching up with her, as we get closer to the 200th episode.

The promo for "The Road Home" offers a look at the UnSub (Jon Gries) knocking on doors and tracking down gang members, muggers, and the like, and this vigilante killer doesn't care about repercussions, which, as Hotch explains, makes him "the most dangerous kind of spree killer." But why is he doing this? Is it because of the man at the end of the preview? The UnSub does tell him, "I've been waiting a long time for this." Did he do something to someone the UnSub loved?

"Criminal Minds" season 9 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on CBS. What do you think of this episode 13 "The Road Home" preview?
