Crime, Passion, and...Jazz? It must be Chicago!

Official Tour Poster

As an LA transplant out of Chicago, I love when my two worlds collide. Thats just what’s happening at The Pantages Theatre this coming April.
Starting April 20 thru May 9 Chicago will be calling The Pantages home. This award-winning musical has everything you could ask for.

Chicago Billboard

Crime, sex, court, and some killer musical numbers. Consider it Law and Order, with a dash of CSI, a bit of Dancing with the Stars, and a femme fatale who’s future depends on getting, and keeping that spotlight. The lead role of Roxie Hart will be played by Michelle Williams, (of Destiny Child fame, not Brokeback Mountian). She took over the role from Ashlee Simpson, and has been locking and loading her Roxie in London as well as Broadway.

Be honest, Who doesn’t love some gun totting gals trying to get off the hook? especially with a lawyer loaded with fancy footwork.

Yes, Chicago has it all-and does it with plenty of style. While I might be biased since I’m from the title location, I doubt anyone from anywhere wouldn’t enjoy a night out on the town.

If Chicago isn't your thing, The Pantages just announced its season schedule. Everything from, Burn the Floor, Spring Awakening, to Shrek the Musical, and Hair. This season has something for everyone!

The show runs April 20-May 9. Student rush tickets will be avaliable two hours before showtime with valid ID. For regular tickets visit the pantages ticketing site.
