The Crest Theater which has stood in its current location since 1912 when it was originally a vaudeville theater called the Empress has decided to expand towards music as well as notable actors on thier renovated stage.
Since the renovations in 1985 and 1997, the Crest theater has altered from a movie theater with a screen towards the arts of films, lectures, music and events for the entertainment of the Sacramento area.
The music presentations are as follows: Gordon Lightfoot, "50 years on the carefree highway tour", on October 2nd. Leon Russel on Onctober 20th and the Mavericks on Ocotber 27th.
Ed Asner, a notable actor will be presenting FDR on stage on November 4th for current audiences to enjoy a live performance not to be missed by those who appreciate the fine art of acting.
