The commercial shows a focus group of small children being given candy made out of vegetables to try. Flavors include asparagus and beet. The children’s comments include, “This is horrible,” “Yuck!”“It’s bad,” “This is disgusting,” and “This is the most worst.” However, “poopy piñata” is the most creative description for the healthy concoctions.
One child spits out a tofu ghost marshmallow, while another throws up after trying an artichoke butter cup. The children all cry when they are told these “treats” will be replacing candy on Halloween.
The ad closes with writing that says, “Nothing is more horrifying than Halloween without candy. Thankfully there’s Crest and Oral-B.” The hashtag #sweethalloween is also given.
