Creepy Twilight doll? Forget the lovely Renesmee, the little daughter of Edward and Bella, or the infidelity scandal that surrounds the protagonists of "Twilight." "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part II)" has kept an even more interesting surprise for its fans. As most of you know, the daughter of Bella and Edward is a hybrid of human and vampire and one of her qualities was that she grew very quickly. However, she was almost a doll at one point....a really, really creepy Twilight doll, according to a Nov. 4 report from Yahoo! Movies.
Here's what producer Wyck Godfrey had to say about the creepy Twilight doll: "Chuckesmee is one of the most grotesque animatronic babies ever to not be seen on film." He continued, "Chuckesmee was a giant misfire on all fronts. Truly, it was one of the most grotesque things I've ever seen. It was a horror show! There was one shot where I call, ‘Cut!’ and suddenly she turns her head and mechanically stares right into the camera. It was incredibly disturbing."
The whole idea of the creepy Twilight doll stemmed from director Bill Condon. In an attempt to show Renesmee maturing at a rapid rate, he conjured up the idea of the creepy Twilight doll. However, the idea of a 90-centimeter doll didn't pan out to well and the implementation of a creepy Renesmee doll quickly got axed.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the creepy Twilight doll was so terrifying that the team began to call it "Chuckesmee," after the famous Child's Play, Chucky.
Due to the terrible result of the creepy Twilight doll experiment, Condon ended up resorting to special effects instead of using a doll. For those who want to see the creepy Twilight doll in action, do not worry, Chuckesmee will appear in the DVD extras. "Twilight Forever: The Complete Saga" Blu-ray and DVD sets will be in stores on Tuesday.
