Moonlight and Magnolias focuses on a movie mogul, a screenwriter, and a director locked in a room with nothing but bananas, peanuts, and a script in dire need of reworking. In five days, the trio will come out from behind those locked doors with a new script for one of the most well-known movies of all time, Gone With the Wind.
Ron Hutchinson created Moonlight and Magnolias, which Katie Hay directed for Wayward Actors Theatre Company. The cast includes Greg Collier, Jeff Mangum, Candy Thomas, and Charles J. Wade.
Moonlight and Magnolias is the first show of Wayward Actors Company's 2014-15 theater season. Other shows to come include The Man From Earth, An Evening With Broadway's Greatest Love Songs, and Prelude to a Kiss. More information on the company and the season can be found on the Wayward Actors Company Facebook page.
