Watercolor paintings make perfect all occasion gift cards! With today's technology, and a bit of creative effort, you can paint your own beautiful card fronts.

Use quality watercolor paints, and paper. One large sheet of Arches 140 lb. paper can be used for many watercolor card fronts. Fold and tear your watercolor paper, into small rectangles. One large sheet of Arches paper makes 16 to 32 card fronts, depending on size needed.

Draw out designs simply. Find designs all around you. Look at rug patterns, fabrics, nature, geometric shapes to help you design. Softly paint the card fronts.

After you create your card fronts, take time to photograph them. You can get high quality prints made at a local shop, and have a wonderful supply of original card fronts on hand, for any occasion. Buy card-stock, and envelopes at a craft shop, glue card fronts on blank cards.
