From an Instagram-only wedding to a National Geographic expedition shot with only a smartphone, we are becoming a nation of instant photographers. But how many of us take the time to print our photos? With GetPicPack you can create and decorate wonderfully clear, colorful and magnetic photos straight from your smartphone.
The convergence of cell phone with digital camera technology has created an ever-growing list of photo apps. But are all of them worth it? GetPicPack stands out from the pack. With GetPicPack folks can create handy and decorative magnets (5.8 cm x 5.8 cm) to decorate their office boards, refrigerators, walls – even their cars!
The idea for GetPicPack came about around Christmas 2010 when German founder Thomas's daughter got some magnets as a gift. She asked her daddy why couldn't she have them with her own pictures. Thomas instantly though…why not? Thomas is an avid Instagram user. During the day he runs a printing business. So he decided to play around with magnets and experiment. Two more friends joined, Tadas and Jakob, and the fun with GetPicPack hasn’t stopped.
I had the chance to check out the app and receive some magnets from my recent Hawai'i vacation. The only hard part in the process was choosing which photos to get. The app is so simple to use I almost had to check that I wasn’t missing a step. But I wasn’t, it really is so easy and simple to use.
When I received my magnets just a couple of days later I was very pleased with the quality. They now decorate a door that my family uses everyday so whenever my family sees those images we are reminded of our great vacations and our furry pets because those are the images I ended up selecting.
If you are an avid digital camera user you have to check out GetPicPack. I’ll bet you can’t stop at just a dozen magnets.
