With December half over, the holiday season is in full swing. Among baking cookies, shopping for presents, and putting up a Christmas Tree, it's also a fun time of year for making crafts to decorate the house or adorn a gift. An easy, simple craft you can do with just a few items is a toilet paper tube Christmas Tree.
-Green construction paper
-Toilet paper tube
-Sequins, stickers, or puffy paint
What to Do:
1. Cut a tree shape out of the green construction paper. It can be just a simple triangle, or more of an Evergreen tree as in the example. TIP: Fold your paper in half, and draw half your shape keeping the fold in the middle. When you cut it out and open it up, your tree will be symmetrical on both sides.
2. Glue sequins onto your tree as ornaments. You can also use stickers, puffy paint, or a plethora of other items you might have around the house.
3. Once the glue for the tree's ornaments is dry, glue the tree onto the toilet paper tube. You can leave as much of the tube showing under the tree as you'd like; the part of the tube you can see is the tree's trunk.
4. Set your tree on a table or other hard surface, and let the glue dry.
