Create a Halloween scarecrow at WPC's Scarecrow Extravaganza this Saturday

Families or groups of four can let their imaginations run wild creating their own Halloween scarecrow Sat. Oct. 24 between noon and 4 p.m. at the Wicker Park Committee's 2nd Annual Scarecrow Extravaganza in Pritzker School Parking Lot (2009 W. Schiller Ave.).

Straw, stakes, wire and paint are all furnished for a $25 fee. Some clothing will be available but participants are encouraged to bring their own garments to be truly unique. Games and other family activities will add to the festivities in the parking lot staging area.
Completed Scarecrows will be eligible for prizes and will stand guard at the corner of Damen and Schiller in the Pritizker School yard until Halloween.   For more information or to register for a scarecrow call Andrew at 312.804.9690.
