Does your New Year's Resolution sound something like this? "I'm going to lose weight and take better care of my health." Or maybe it's a little more fun like, "I'm going to get back into my skinny jeans and feel sexy again!" Whatever spin you put on it, I'm going to give you my best advice as a holistic nutrition coach who specializes in helping women over 40 lose weight without dieting. The best way to reach your 2011 health and fitness goals is to feed your body tasty nourishing food so you don't feel deprived and end up throwing in the towel.

Giving in to my desire for a decadent chocolate dessert now and again does not have to derail my efforts to lose weight and achieve optimal health. In fact, feeding myself a healthy version of my favorite desserts satisfies me and keeps me on track. Below I share with you one of my go-to desserts that is full of nutritious superfoods, is super delicious and easy to make.

Creamy Dreamy Chocolate Delight

Ingredients:

2 frozen bananas


1 avocado


¼ cup raw cacao powder


¼ cup raw agave nectar

1 teaspoon coconut oil


½ teaspoon cinnamon


1 cup water
