My husband and I are definitely tea drinkers, so when I found a box of Celestial Seasonings Gingerbread Spice Tea in the bargain basket at Winco last February, I happily swiped up a box to try. We found that it was a nice spicy tea with lots of flavor and a yummy smell like cookies baking. It's strong enough that we could easily get more than one cup out of a single bag. (Something to consider if you drink tea a couple times a day and are on a budget.) Overall we really like this tea and I was very pleased to see it back in stores a couple weeks ago.

A reader asked if I would post the frosting recipe for my spicy sandwich cookies. This recipe is very simple to make, but yummy enough for almost any kind of cookie or cake. It comes from the Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book.
Cream Cheese Frosting
6 ounces cream cheese
1/2 C. butter or margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
4 C. powdered sugar
In a mixer bowl beat together cream cheese, butter or margarine, and vanilla till light and fluffy. Add two cups of the powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Gradually add the remaining powdered sugar until the desired frosting consistency is reached.
