Celebrate survivorship this year at your local bars, while raising money for much-needed research, and help those affected by cancer. Everyone knows someone who is affected by cancer. Below are the details for the 2011 Crawl for Cancer.
The Crawl for Cancer is currently sold-out for entering teams, but individuals can still donate, and follow along for the festivities.
On Saturday May 28, 2011, at 1:00 pm, the Crawl for Cancer kicks-off. Teams travel to five Arena District bars, and end at 5:00 pm, where participants are invited to after-parties at 343 Park St Tavern, Brothers, Big Woodys, and the Park Street Complex.
The participating bars are as follows: Brothers, Big Woodys, Garage Bar, R Bar, Bar Louie's, Char Bar, Novak's, Callahan's, Gas Werks, Park St. Tavern, Park St. Patio, Park St. Cantina, The Big Bang, The Social Bar/Lounge, Gordon Biersch, and Park St. Saloon.
In 2010, proceeds went to Michelle's Fund, I'm Too Young For This! Cancer Foundation, and the American Cancer Society.
