The F-body style Chevrolet Camaro is a very strong crash resistant vehicle. The long chassis allows maximum crash zone in front and behind the driver. The vehicle also features a very nice crash bubble design for the occupants. Side impact resistance is increased by strong crash bars located in each door.

The unibody design doesn't actually have a frame other than the chassis. However, the overall design of the chassis is strong enough to keep all occupants safe regardless of their being no actual frame rails. Because there is no frame, the chassis is actually made of stronger materials to compensate the lack of stereotypical framing components. For it's time period, the F-body chassis is a very strong vehicle and can keep occupants safe in most accidents. I have driven this chassis over 100 mph multiple times and felt safe doing so.
