Long Run Park (1605 Flat Rock Road, Louisville, KY, 40245)
This park is about 20 minutes from Downtown Louisville, and has a large variety of amenities including a playground, a water park, tennis and basketball counts, and numerous picnic areas. Best of all, it has a huge lake that is in the center of everything that is completed with a boat launching ramp.
Many local anglers turn to Long Run Park lake when they want to go crappie fishing because it isn't uncommon to reel-in large crappie. One local angler had this to say about fishing for crappie at Long Run Park.
