Cranberry glaze for Christmas ham

Nothing says “Christmas” like cranberry sauce with its bright red, tart flavor. Did you know it just so happens to make the best Christmas ham glaze too? This recipe is simple, tasty and just perfect for that special Christmas dinner. Ingredients:

1 can whole cranberry sauce- 16 ounces.

1 tsp. Nutmeg

½ tsp. Ground cloves

½ tsp. cinnamon

2 tablespoons white granulated sugar

2 tablespoons of brown sugar

2 tablespoons of orange juice or zest

½ stick of margarine

Instructions:

In a medium pot, melt margarine, add in whole cranberry sauce, sugars, orange juice, spices and slowly bring to a simmer stirring as you heat long enough to get all well heated through. (five minutes, or so)

Bake ham according to directions, and after 45 minutes of baking, begin brushing Cranberry glaze on the ham. Continue glazing every 10 minutes until ham is completely done and ready to be taken out of oven.
