Last night at the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, before an audience of more than 450 people the 2013 Craig Noel awards were given out to honor the outstanding theatre San Diego had over the past year! With a total of 22 productions for nine theatre companies being honores at the ceremony the winners ranged from the La Jolla Playhouse/Berkeley Repertory Theatre production of “An Iliad,” to the Cygnet Theatre’s production of the musical, “Parade,” The Old Globe’s musical, “Allegiance,” and that company’s co-production, with the American Conservatory Theatre, of “The Scottsboro Boys”.
