Craig Morgan’s latest hit “Wake Up Lovin’ You” is climbing the charts and they former soldier is taking his “The Journey” tour overseas to entertain the troops.
In an April 8 press release Monarch Publicity announced that Craig Morgan will make his eleventh trip overseas to entertain United States troops. Craig Morgan will travel with Armed Forces Entertainment and Stars and Stripes throughout Southwest Asia this spring for a series of acoustic shows. Why does award-winning television host and former soldier frequently travel to entertain for the men and women of the military stationed overseas? Morgan says:
“As a former soldier myself, it is important to me to have another opportunity to support our troops and do whatever I can to help keep morale high. I always jump at the chance to get over there and do my part.”
Craig Morgan began traveling overseas to perform for U.S. troops in 2003. But Craig Morgan’s support and encouragement also extends to the spouses, families and dependents left behind at home by those who have chosen to serve their country. Morgan has worked with soldier’s families stateside through the Folds of Honor and Jack Daniel’s Toast to the Troops.
The Black River recording artist’s latest single, “Wake Up Lovin’ You” Top 20 single is currently at number 16 on the chart. Written by Josh Osborne, Matt Ramsey and Trevor Rosen, “Wake Up Lovin’ You” is one of four new songs on Morgan’s recently released CD “The Journey – Livin’ Hits”.
