Craig Morgan and Jimmy Wayne top the action this weekend at Atlanta area country bars, nightclubs and honky tonks.

Craig Morgan – whose current single “Bonfire” is in the Top 10 – appears at Cowboys in Kennesaw on Friday (11/20). Morgan’s current hit is “Bonfire.” Earlier sons include his first #1 hit, “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” and such Top 10 songs as “Redneck Yacht Club”, “International Harvester” and “Love Remembers.” (PS: He’s a really cool, down-home guy; I met him in Nashville last fall when he became a member of the Grand Ole Opry.) Tickets start at $10.

Also Friday, Keen performs at Wild Bill’s in Duluth. The Texas native has released more than 15 albums over the past 25 years, including his current CD, “The Rose Hotel.” He’ll be joined by the Sons of Bill. Tickets start at $20.

Also this weekend you’ll find:

• Nashville singer/songwriters Wyatt Easterling and Paul Jefferson at the Swallow at the Hollow on Friday and Saturday nights. The Friday and Saturday shows begin at 10 p.m.; tickets are $15 for each show.

• Local bands and weekend fun at Wild West Bar and Grill in Holly Springs and Ozone Bar & Grill in Covington.

And looking ahead to Thanksgiving weekend, watch for Brantley Gilbert at Wild Bill’s on Friday (11/27) and James Otto at Cowboys on Saturday (11/28).
