Craig Ferguson near deal to stay at CBS until 2014

Let's hope that you love Craig Ferguson -- the man looks to be sticking around on CBS for a while.

According to some new reports, the host of "The Late Late Show" is near a deal that will keep him with the network until 2014 -- which will mark his ninth year on the network. While "The Late Late Show" is not always the flashiest show out there, it has been notable for making the most out of limited resources -- from a small budget to a robot sidekick. Ferguson's hosting style has attracted a devoted fanbase, and he fits well following David Letterman's "Late Show." (Letterman's Worldwide Pants production company makes both shows.)

There is one extra benefit to this news, as Ferguson is expected to receive a new studio for his show as a part of the new -- which may actually give the guy some genuine room to work with.
